SerAI — Sergio’s Chatbot
At Veriloquium, I’ve always looked for ways to help my clients achieve their goals.
That means exploring new technologies and anticipating their needs.
Here’s an example that shows how that curiosity has evolved into a real, working tool.
Back in 2022, before generative AI became popular, I created my first chatbot in Dialogflow CX: Chachipiti.
As the name suggests, you shouldn’t expect great results.
The budget behind it was nowhere near its famous cousin’s, and its training was limited.
Its mission was simple: to experiment with the creation of conversational chatbots using natural language processing and artificial intelligence, while providing basic information about my services.
Still, I had a lot of fun developing it.
It was a nice reminder that even with modest means, language already contained the seed of intelligence.
Three years later, that seed has grown into SerAI, a far more advanced assistant — designed and developed by me to demonstrate how applied linguistics, AI, and web design can work together in a practical and efficient way.
Unlike that early experiment, SerAI isn’t meant to learn from you, but to assist you.
It’s designed to:
- Show how a linguist can apply AI in a real and useful way.
- Answer questions about NLP, localization, QA, terminology, web design, and branding.
- Recognize whether you’re looking for information, inspiration, or professional collaboration.
